Irene Dostov, professionally known as Miss JOY, is an AI Literacy Educator, Curriculum Architect, international speaker, author, and the founder of AI Explorers Academy™.

Her work focuses on one of education's newest challenges: how do we prepare children for a world where artificial intelligence becomes part of everyday life?

While many conversations about AI focus on technology, Irene believes the future belongs to children who can think critically, create responsibly, and remain deeply human while working alongside AI. That belief became the foundation of AI Explorers Academy™.

My Mission

Every child deserves to understand AI — not simply use it

Artificial Intelligence is changing how children learn, create, communicate, and solve problems. Preparing children for this future requires more than introducing new digital tools.

It requires developing wisdom, curiosity, creativity, ethical judgment, and the confidence to think independently. My mission is to help families, educators, and schools build those lifelong abilities through age-appropriate AI Literacy education.

My Educational Philosophy

Technology will evolve. Human character must evolve with it.

At AI Explorers Academy™, AI Literacy is not about becoming dependent on artificial intelligence. It is about helping children become thoughtful, creative, ethical, and confident individuals who know when — and when not — to use AI.

Our goal is not to prepare children to compete against AI. Our goal is to prepare them to think with AI.

Professional Background

A decade in international education

Before founding AI Explorers Academy™, Irene spent more than ten years in international education — including nearly a decade living and working in China, teaching children from diverse cultural backgrounds while witnessing one of the world's fastest-moving education systems embrace innovation and artificial intelligence.
